The Galloway Action Team learning how to safely use garden strimmers.

Learning about the proper use and maintenance of garden tools such as leaf blowers and strimmers means those going to work in areas such as horticulture, garden and land management can do so with a knowledge of health and safety.

Topics including the need for regular maintenance and the proper use of the tools were covered. By investing time in learning these practices, our volunteers can improve their results while promoting safe and responsible tool use.
